He began classical studies in 1968 at the Conservatoire de Rennes and will be among the first students of Dante Agostini and Kenny Clark. He discovered jazz in the 70s through, among others, the trio of Eddy Louiss Rene Thomas and Kenny Clark.
Winner of the National Jazz Contest of Defense in 1988, he devoted himself since 1989 exclusively for its own creation. An avid traveler, he will make many foreign tours under his name.
Since 1993, he stayed regularly in various African countries, for projects dear to his heart. After a dozen albums, he has acquired with «Tree Travel» in 2000 and 2003 «Turbulent Silence» recognition of the general public.
